Here is a fun trend and a welcome change from all the stripes we have been seeing lately; Dots and loads of them. Above, the girls are sporting the large version of the dotted clothing. This looks especially good in dark blue/black and white, I can just imagine this paired with a green cardo oversized shirt. I also love the fact that it looks great paired with stripes, perfect transition look from the stripes to the dots.

The smaller version of dots have been seeing on just about any item of clothing and I love how it instantly gives any outfit a fun and youthful side to it. It looks like its time to swap you basic skirts, jackets and harem pants for dotted versions.

For a more vintage and old school look, try the black/blue or even red dots on white fabric. I really enjoy the ‘homy’ feel these small coloured dots convey an these girls make it look so effortless, it’s perfect. Will you be going dotted this spring or will you stay faithfully in the stripped club?

So, saturday I took my tiered self to London’s Fashion Fusion and was very glad I did. I was lucky enough to meet the gorgeous Reem, the face behind the amazing website ‘5′5 girl in a 5′10 world’ and one of the speakers at the event. Definitely worth checking out her website, it has some really fun and interesting fashion segments. I have to confess I feel in love with the title of the blog/website, being short myself I completely relate to it It’s one of those things you wish you had come up with and thought of.

Anyway, here is the outfit I wore to the event and I was very glad to discovered that the stilettos came in handy later during the day, when shopping for cheap finds at Primak. I literally walked m way through the crowds of hungry looking shoppers.

2010 is, for me, the start of a new love for accessories, I am giving earrings, and especially rings a run for their money. I never use to change my earrings but I have recently found myself ‘cheering’ up basic outfits with a great pair of statement earrings, and the same goes for rings. I am always wearing my cartier triple rings for very sentimental reasons and not taken them off is almost 6 years now. However, they are having quite a bit of company lately. Here, I am wearing a new pair of Jewels chunky emerald earrings. Jewels stuff is pretty bold, bright and very out there and let’s be honest not very me. This being said I actually, like, no love her pieces.

So what do you think of my bold statement earrings? Would you wear them?
I also just wanted to let you know I am currently looking for a new home for a gorgeous pair of wedges i sadly never wear, so if you are a size 5 (uk) or 38 (eu) and promise to take good care of them then just leave me a comment with all you details and I will pick a lucky winner on Wednesday.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to do some virtual window shopping over at SpanishMossVintage and it wasn’t long before I was adding items into my, also virtual, shopping cart. They really have some amazing stuff but one item really caught my eye and my little session of innocent window shopping become a serious and very real shopping spree. I needed their stunning and very hot “peek-a-boo, mesh cut-out dress”. So, after a few secondes of “ohh god I hope they have my size”, followed by a joyful sigh of relief because they did indeed have the now ‘dream dress’ in my size, it was in my virtual shopping bag and ready to be paid and shipped. And here it is, I spent a wonderful night out and about in London in this simple yet cheeky black dress. What better, after a hard days work.

And of course worn best with a hat, and so much more fun! The right shoes fro this dress was my biggest problem, I wore it a pair of simple black low ankle boots from Zara, but I wanted something more chunky and I finished the evening or early morning to be more exact in a pair of black Converse ‘chucks’. What kind of shoes would you wear this dress with?

I Hope you all had a great weekend, I had an extremely hectic and busy one. My first day as a stylist on Friday was more stressful but also, and more importantly, more fun than expected. Now we just have to wait and hope the result is as god as the day itself. I am also preparing the big 100th post give away, so stay tuned for this and keep your eyes pealed. I didn’t have the time to do a new outfit post but here is one I took a couple of weeks ago.

The bodysuit20

Posted In Trend

Here is another one of these things we saw our mothers wearing and swore we would never wear ourselves: i am speaking about none other than the bodysuit. And how were we wrong, very wrong indeed, the bodysuit is back, however this time around it is being paired with loose trousers, high waist jeans and full skirt and not leg warmers. Making the body look very modern and sleek. On tomorrow’s photo shot simple nude and black bodysuits will be our key items so I though this was the perfect time to post my bodysuit looks.
