Bassike for your basics

I discovered Bassike via Elle's and Tash's blog They all hate us. My first thought was not to spend too much time browsing the Australian brand's online store as they would probably not ship to Europe. I should not have been too quick to judge as they do indeed ship internationally and it only takes 3-5 days. 

The brand really does deliver some great quality basics for a clean and effortless wardrobe. The low-slung jeans are by far my favourite and I can see them dressed up or down with a multitude of different combos. Their basic t-shirts are available in all different colours and tehy seem to have the perfect slouchy - but not too baggy - fit to them. Finally that oversized black jumper and what looks like the perfect pair of leather pants will stay at the back of my mind, as tehy are not quiet in my budget at the moment.

Mexx Metropolitan jacket

Mexx has launched a new sleek and sophisticated line fo clothes. A line dedicated, it would seem, to the young active women always on the go - both for work and play. This new line offers simple yet structured staple pieces that can easily be taken from day to night. This jacket was the first piece that caught my eye and I can't wait to show it to you worn, along with some other key pieces any working girl should have.

With my trip to Paris booked and just around the corner, I couldn't help but be drawn in by this gorgeous lookbook from Shopbop - they are actually doing some amazing Lookbooks at the moment. Definitely worth taking a look. Everything about it is perfect, the autumn colours, the use of stripes and checked prints, the long wool coats, slouchy leather trousers, oversized chunky knits and tweed jackets. The whole Lookbook screams French chic in Autumn.
