Fantastic! Now this is one collaboration I will look forward to and I (for the first time) might just stand in a queu and battle my way around the rest of the fashion lovers to get my hands on a piece of lanvin. Then again, I wil have to wait and see if anything from this collection catches my eye. What do you guys think about this collaboration?

Here is the second edition of “Snapped, Stored & Shared” with some few ideas of where to go in Brussels. Enjoy!

1. Simply heaven, even more so due to the fact that to find a shop in Brussels that sells reese’s is like
finding the golden goose (Nail polish is from Sephora).

2. The eco- friendly and trendy Faguo sneakers will be exposed at the Belgium BOZAR SHOP for one month only, starting as of this Wednesday 1st September. A limited edition shoe, created for this exposition will also be available.

3. Ebisu is a new ‘fast food’ style japaness restaurant around Flagey (brussels)
and I am not talking Sushi. (read more here)

4. What could be the perfect bag ( from COS) for uni this year, I need one that will
fit all my junk but also my books,
but also I need one
that I can potentially carry around whilst on a bike . Any suggestions?

5. the drop of temperature we have been faced with lately sadly indicates the end of summer but
it also means the leather trousers can be dug up again. These are from h&M (last year)

6. You might remember my post on Delvaux (the Belgian maroquinerie), well here is the lundi
bag from their new collection ‘Toujours’ in royal blue. Love the colour and the leather is divine,
my only problem is that my wallet is way too big sadly for this bag. (both gifted)

7. With September comes the beginning and the launch of so many new and fascinating things,
and one of them is the Hermès ‘J’aime mon carré’ party. Can’t wait for it and I will be sure to
document the evening to its full extent.

If Paris has Chanel, London has Mulberry and New york has Alexander wang then Brussels has Delvaux. The Belgian brand, Delvaux is as old as Belgium itself, making the oldest fine leather luxury goods company in the world.

I was invited to a lunch and a round table by the House of Delvaux, along side other Belgian bloggers, as they are currently unveiling a new collection called “Toujours” aimed at the everyday modern and active woman. The designs are more modern, well thought out and most of all practical, and the prices are affordable. This being said, lowering the price did in no way entail lowering the standards and the quality of their leather goods. We had the opportunity to visit the workshop in order to further understand what is means by the term “luxury good”. Indeed, every single handbag that comes out of the House of Delvaux has been hand made from start to finish. I do have to say I will be thinking twice before dumping my next handbag on the floor when I see the effort and the quality of the craftsmanship that goes into a bag. In our era of Logos and branding is was refreshing to see a company with heart and soul and a legacy that is more about the bag than the label itself.

Click on the magazine for a full screen view or go over to Glossy Mag
No a video this weekend but something even better. The online magazine Glossy Mag 6th issue is out now and boy is it a 234 page long treat!! Even more so that I have finally (after a lot of waiting and patience) received my birthday present; a gorgeous and shiny Ipad on which I can download and read this magazine. I urge you all to go and check it out and if you have the time also check out their older issues, they are all worth a read or at the very least a quick flick through. What I love about Glossy is that they have taken the  virtual magazine to a whole new level, not only is it online and virtual but it is also interactive with a nice selection of videos to watch too throughout the magazine.  So don’t waste any more time and hop over to the Glossy Mag website.
Enjoy and “Keep it Glossy” as the Glossy team would say!!
