I haven’t had the time to post many outfit posts lately so I thought I would share a few pictures from one night last week and combine it with a small trend that seems to be popping up everywhere; Autumn draping. I decide to this as when the three of us got together I seemed to be the only not draped from head to toe. Now all the dresses I seem to be attracted to for autumn seem to be draped in one way or the other.

Funnily enough in the first collage, all of their dresses and skirts come from stylestalker something that I had not calculated but I do have to admit they have some amazing wrapped dresses and skirts. I especially have a huge crush on this particular dress.

Finally, my nude Aldo Perusse plexi heels arrived. It was an ordeal to get them to Brussels, and I would love to able to say it was worth the wait. However, all I have been able to do so far is prance around the house in them (looking kind of mad) and I managed a quick walk, what with the never ending rain that is falling down on us. This being said, with every bit of sunshine we have left, there is no doubt I will be wipping these heels out. Anyway, here are a few pictures I managed to snap today, following in the spirit of plexi and transparant heels, as seen previously. As I am writing this post, my new heels are nicely tucked back in their box away from any possible sight of rain.

After coming back from what was a very pleasant ten days in Cannes bathing in 30°degrees of pure sunshine, I have to admit that I was a bit taken back landing at the airport in my sandals and bright pink Topshop jeans and noticing that it was actually raining. And it has been like this for the last week 24° with moments of sunshine followed by hours of rain. It is that time of the year where you hesitate before leaving the house and wonder if you should be packing umbrellas and hoodies or sunglasses and protection creme, and I am not enjoying it one little bit. Anyway, surely I can’t be the only girl in town that has on more occasion than one found herself stripping off her tights and jackets in sync with the sun’s brief but warm appearances. And this is exactly what happend with this latest outfit.

The lovely Keira from Swatch contacted me a while ago to let me know that my favourite watches were coming out in new colours this summer, yes I am talking about the Full Blooded Collection by swatch. I already own it in black and gold (seen here) and in dark red. However, I am contemplating getting another but I am stuck on the colours. I love the dark pink and purple but I prefer the more discret colours so I am leaning toward the caramel one. What do you guys think?

Also, a huge thank you for all your kind words regarding the giveaway and I am so glad that you all enjoyed it. Here is what I wore yesterday as the weather was just taking the piss out of us by raining one minute and sun shining the next, I decided to pull out my biker boots from YesStyle and pull on a light and easy silk shirt from zara (that I found during the sales). As Bruges will be the place I call “home” for a year, starting as of September, I thought it would be a good idea to go and visit the place for a day. I have to say I was pleasant surprise and I am actually looking forward to hiring a bike for the year and going to uni on it. This will definitely be the last chapter of my student life. I will not bombarde you with al the pictures of Bruges itself as you will be seeing plenty of it during the next 10 months. This is what I wore and the all the candy I brought

I hope everyone had a great weekend, personally I was not prepared for such a heat wave but I refuse to complain. With the sales just around the corner I have my little “what i really really want bu do not need” list ready. Another thing that is just around the corner are the holidays which I cannot wait for, the first part of the hols will be spent doing a road trip with the bf just after graduation (from 16th July onwards). We are planning on going to Cannes, then Monaco followed by St-Tropez, Genova and Milan, then we will head back to Brussels via Munich and Baden-baden. Looking forward to seen a few of you on our road trip.

Thank you all again so much fro all you birthday wishes. Well First week back in Brussels all I got was rain but my second week here, I got a whole lot of sunshine! For all you curious ones I have been told that my present will be delivered on Friday, so we will have have to be patient a little longer haha (but those who follow me on Twitter you know you will be the first to know)

Anyway, this is what I wore out to dinner last night with the bf which was just perfect, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Loving my new cat sunglasses which got me a lot of starres but at least it’s not the bright orange hair their were starring at for once.

There was a blogger meet-up in London over at the Hummingbird Bakery, so I thought I would briefly pop over just to say hi to everyone. Finally, one pair of new shoes later and a couple failed attempts at finding Jill we finally arrived. It was great meeting all the girls and I have to say Carrie did a lovely post describing the afternoon and all the bloggers present that day, I couldn’t have said it better. I ended up spending the rest of the afternoon talking politics, holidays, and counterfeit shoes with fellow friend and blogger Jill who is the creator and author behind PolkaDot. Always with her camera at hand ready to immortalise what catches her eye, she snapped a few pictures of me and has actually made a lovely post here. A quick post of my last weekend in the UK, yes I am now back in Brussels for the summer before going off to Brugge that is. You can not even begin to imagine the number of suitcases full of clothes and shoes I brought back, even I was embarrassed. Of course I came back here to discover three closets full of clothes too, so I am having a serious clear out on Ebay this coming month before it gets out of hand.

I have recently started to fully grasp the merits of day to night outfits. Travelling back and thought between cities one is forced to travel light. Thus finding outfits, such as this dress or jumpsuits seen in my previous posts, than can easily be taken from day to night are now key in my books. This dress was the perfect example of how a quick change of shoes and accessories allowed for this outfit to work both during the day and at night. The dress it is from the French duo behind Heimstone. I absolutely love the intricate detailing on the dress, and the fact that it offers something different on every angle.

You would have though it was winter looking at my previous outfit post, but summer is here and it’s great (appart from the very real fact that I am still in the midst of my exams). My pale little legs where exposed to UK sunlight for the first time in a very long time, and shortly after these pictures were taken together with a couple of nice walks and outings and I find myself burnt, oh so very very burnt. very few can accomplish what I did this weekend and it takes a real redhead to get so burnt under 17° of sun. So any way I have some colour now, hat is the upside to it all

And for some details, I actually really like this watch which was gifter to me by the bf some time last year. It is a limited edition that Nixon made for Colette (paris) and I was immediately draw to this as the three colours brought back so many memories of my childhood, I think it has to do with my, then, obsession with lego.

This was yesterday’s outfit, it was one of those days where no matter what you put on the weather was not going to suit the outfit. I endeed going from being cold to warm all day but I didn’t care as long as I was sporting my new boots. I have been looking for so long now for the perfect pair of leather biker boots to dress down girly dresses or to pair with cut offs and skinnies, and here there are. The day these arrived I had just brought the topshop ones that I showed you in the lats post, so I doubt I will be keeping them now, especially now that I have a new purchase in mind that I will hopefully soon share with you, and now I’m off to work again.

Having brought so much stuff for summer but not being able to wear as the weather is not allowing it and this is seriously getting on my nerves.
