Fan di Fendi

I was kindly invited by the Fendi team over at LVMH to discover Fendi's latest perfum - Fan di Fendi. I generally tend to go the fresh and fruity way when it comes to perfume. However, I have to say that for a winter scent, the Fan di Fendi is just perfect. Now personally, I don't know a lot about perfume, but I can share with you what I learnt about this one. The leather note is not too strong - actually quite smooth - and well blended in with those subtle fruity  notes. Just like Fendi, it is classic without being old. What perfume are you wearing for winter?

The magazine under the Perfumes is the first edition of L'Officiel New talents, written and created by bloggers for 'bloggers'.

The Deauty box

Monthly boxes that are delivered to your doorset every month are all the craze right now. Whether these contain wine, food, clothes, pet products, jewelry, shoes or even new beauty products to try out. A couple of these types of boxes have finally arrived to Belgium, which I am very excited about.

The idea is fairly simple: pay every month 15€ - or pay once yearly - and you receive a gorgeous box full of new products to try out. I really like the idea of paying a small fee every month and having a box full of goodies delivered to my doorstep. This month the lovely people over at Deauty sent me their first box and it was all but disappointing. It is full of great new products to try out, products that I would probably never think about trying or brands I have never gotten to know. For one, I am really curious to try out the Mythic Oil by L'Oréal Professionnel, as well as the Nuxe rose water. I will let you know - my un-expert opinion that is - what I think about the products as I try them along the way . One thing is for sure, you definitely get your money's worth and what a great present it would make - one year of new products to discover and try.

On another note, I am delighted to annonce that the winner of the 100€ voucher to spend over at Julshoes is Elza Soko. Congrats, you will be hearing from us soon!

J.Crew goes to the office

Skirts, skirts and a few dresses - but more importantly colours.

Jeans, jeans and more jeans

ph/JCrew

I have known about JCrew for a couple of years and always found their stuff effortless and timeless. But to be honest, I never really paid that much attention, and how wrong I was not to. I am not a huge fan of getting dressed in the morning and I do like to go to sleep with an outfit in mind. This apprehension is doubled when I started working - in a corporate environment may I add. Personally I really like what J.Crew has to offer in terms of work attire that is youthful and on the other end of the boring spectrum. Another added bonus is that they work with half sizes which means that there is most definitely your perfect size.

Let's face it, there is an increasing number of young ambitious women in the workplace - and so there should be - but there is no reason why we should dress up like the 50 year old male lawyer now is there? Not that there is anything wrong with being a 50 year old lawyer of course, I just don't fancy dressing like them.

Now if only they were present in Europe so that I could try them out before making an order online.
