//WEARING// Zara jumper Passé Composé skirt available at The Faubourg YesStyle coat (old) ASOS boots (old)

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was hectic and not very relaxing but a weekend nonetheless. If you follow me on Instagram, you will know why. Anyway, back to the outfit. You might remember me talking about the new e-shop 'in town' - it would be more correct to say on the World Wide web - called The Faubourg. Well here is another piece from there, the lovely leo skirt from the brand Passé Composé this time. ANyway, if you haven't yet, it is definitely worth a look.

This has to be one of my all time favourite purchases. I love the print and the colours, this print is not something I could wear daily but I really gravitated towards it when I first saw it. I just could not get it out of my head. It reminds me of when I went to Africa nearly 15 years ago now. My mum brought so many dresses and skirts in the most amazing prints and the skirt just brings back great childhood memories. The skirt is also fashion conscience in that it is fair trade and seriously ethical.

If I created a fashion blog it is in part because I enjoy fashion and find the industry fascinating - to say the least. However, with such an ephemeral business, and one that is by nature constantly changing, very fickle and hugely wasteful - I really believe it is important that the wonder and magic associated to this industry is not shadowed by the violation of ethical and environmental policies. It is nice to know that this skirt is both ethical and eco friendly - be it recycled, organic cotton, non-toxic, fair trade, sustainable, vegan or non-exploitative.

As the length was a bit long, I just chopped the bottom of it, and I love it even more with the frayed seam. I just hope I can get to wear it some time soon. You can find similar items here or over at Fashion Conscience.

The perfect corduroy pant

curdoroy pants ph/Zara Corduroy is the perfect direction to go in for winter but why not change it and wear it baggy. The same way, baggy leather pants have become the craze so will the corduroy pants - or so I hope. I absolutely love the slouchy effect of these trousers, so much so that I had to get my hands on a pair. They are on their way to me as we speak. If you haven't yet, why not check out the e-shop I openend with two friends.

These have to be the most minimalistic yet perfect heels I have yet to own. These black sating stappy heels from Zara might not be perfect for the cold weather  just  but I can't wait to wear them. I am currently emptying my closet and with two of my friend we will be doing a flash sale soon, so stay tuned.
