Not just a scarf

Another great new trend that I wil be trying soon; wearing my AA circle scarf as a skirt. Yes it seems to be all the rage right now and I have to say I am loving it. For those of you who follow me on a regular basis, you know by now that I don't often (actually probably) never post pictures of celebrities. Indeed, this blog is dedicated solely to the creations and the trends of the blogosphere, however some of these trends, if not most do start from inspirations that bloggers take from the catwalks, fashion shows and editorials, and this trens is no exception. Indeed, this tulip shape of skirt was first spotted on Dree Hemingway at the Twilight saga première. Like most of you, I loved the simplicity of the outfit and I thought the skirt was just perfect, I loved it even more once I discovered that Dree had performed a DIY of herself and had literally just wrapped her little 'derrière' in a scarf. I am thinking f trying this look on Friday night, fingers crossed it doesn't rain and I might just be abe to take a few pictures, that is if the whole thing is not a disaster.

Bare with me

It all started with this shirt, Hanneli

It seems that sun brings out, in all of us, the need to bare a little. And what better way than to show a little shoulder, so far so good. But show a little shoulder through a shirt, now that is even better. When I first saw the picture of Hanneli I literally looked at the picture for a whole minute and thought "how genius is this?". Then I saw Caroline Blomst sporting a similar design but in a very different style and thought "Now this is a trend a really like and could get use to!". Any thoughts on cut out shoulders on shirts?

A couple of pretty amazing DIYs from Iris and The Ensemble project

Also Thank you to Moni from the blog FrockYeah for the heads up that I was featured on Forever 21's blog (The skinny). Tanks for the feature!

Daddy's girl

Filles à papa is a Belgium brand that is pretty colourful, modern and very edgy, and the Belgium equivalent of wildfox. I have often found myself browsing their website and e-shop, and have so far only brought a couple of Tees. However, I am in love with their bright blue latex/leather trousers and their glitter jackets. I am just not quite sure were I would wear them, then again I am sure the occasion will present itself. Anyway, I thought this wekend I would share a couple of videos of this Belgium brand.

Hi there weatherman

After coming back from what was a very pleasant ten days in Cannes bathing in 30°degrees of pure sunshine, I have to admit that I was a bit taken back landing at the airport in my sandals and bright pink Topshop jeans and noticing that it was actually raining. And it has been like this for the last week 24° with moments of sunshine followed by hours of rain. It is that time of the year where you hesitate before leaving the house and wonder if you should be packing umbrellas and hoodies or sunglasses and protection creme, and I am not enjoying it one little bit. Anyway, surely I can't be the only girl in town that has on more occasion than one found herself stripping off her tights and jackets in sync with the sun's brief but warm appearances. And this is exactly what happend with this latest outfit.

Also thank you to the lovely Shomara from the blog 'My roots, My style' for her interview with me. And do make sure to check out Hypeed's latest editorial. I have to say I have a small girl crush on their cover girl, Monse.
