In cannes

I am finally on vacation and I have to say it feels great. One of my favorite things to do in Cannes - appart from doing absolutely nothing - is to go to the market in the 'vieux' Cannes. You just can't go wrong with all the fresh fruit & veg, fish, spices and teh most amazing flowers.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I just really needed some time off and to myself. However the month of September will be packed with exiting new projects, amazing giveaways and a lot of posts. So be prepared.

As per tradition we spent an afternoon walking around (and getting lost) in Le Maris. I love this neighborhood, especially during the week when it's quieter, as it is always changing and moving. There are always new shops popping up left and right, new restaurants to try out and new bars to discover. We stumbled upon Le Dépanneur Fricote which is a fleeting shop that sells all things made in the US - from marshmallow fluff to fuit loops, from Opinels to barbecue sauce, from Betty Crocker chap sticks to Mac & cheese  ... However, it is only open until the 23 April so if you are in Paris go and check them out and  stock up on all things american. If not you can always check out Yumise. They sell all of this stuff online, however they only ship to France at the moment, hopefully this will change some time soon. Thanks to the guys in the shop for sharing the website with us - a delicious find.

Smets Premium store 650-652 Chaussée de Louvain | B-1030 Bruxelles

No Concept  Avenue louise 94c |  B-1050 Bruxelles Rue du Postillon 2 | B-1180 Bruxelles Rue du Doyenne 83 | B-1180 Bruxelles Chaussée de waterloo | 1449, B-1180 Bruxelles

I went to Smets' official opening last week and I have to say that the store is pretty impressive (and by impressive  I mean huge) and it's a gorgeous place to spent an hour of so browsing through all the amazing stuff - I could never afford :) No Concept, on the other hand is packed full of wonderful brands often found no where else in Brussels, and it's the perfect place to find bday presents if you are ever at a loss.  So, when in Brussels why not stop by!

Blown up at Forever21

I went shopping with the boy on Saturday in Antwerp, and as we passed the new Forever21 store, my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe it! There I was, all 4m of me. I had been contacted a month or so ago to ask me if I was okay about being on the digital screens in the new store, little did I know that they meant the giant ones at the front of the shop. I have to say it was pretty impressive and I am grateful for such a nice gesture. Plus, it was an honour for me to be up there with the great Sabrina, from AfterDRK.
