The proud archivist is situated on Regent’s Canal at the heart of Haggerston. It is a beautiful combination of an art gallery, a packed bar, a restaurant and an overall lovely place to hang out, read a book in sun and do some people watching. The place is gorgeous and I am jealous of their gorgeous tables and bar.

However, the service is not particularly great and the food is a massive disappointment. Every time we have been - in the hopes that both the service and the food will be better than our previous time - it has been just as bad.

Thus, overall a great place to hang out with a book and friends but don't go there if you are either in a rush of looking for some good food because you will just be disappointed.
