Just a quick outfit post and a reminder that being serious 24/7 is neither good nor, well, serious. Going backwards and forth between Canterbury and London, I have noticed that very rarely do I take pictures when I am running around London. On this occasion I made a point of taking the time to snap some pictures to share with you.

I was also very flattered to see my looks here and here. Thanks Elodie, Laura and Elisabeth!! You can also check out my features in my 'featured in' section, an opportunity to discover new blogs.

Also, I hope you have noticed the countdown to 'the big 100th post giveaway' has begun. No excuses for not knowing as I have posted the countdown on the top of the sidebar. I will not reveil what there is to win, not yet anyway, but i will say this much. There will be two big winners!!

Here is a fun trend and a welcome change from all the stripes we have been seeing lately; Dots and loads of them. Above, the girls are sporting the large version of the dotted clothing. This looks especially good in dark blue/black and white, I can just imagine this paired with a green cardo oversized shirt. I also love the fact that it looks great paired with stripes, perfect transition look from the stripes to the dots.

The smaller version of dots have been seeing on just about any item of clothing and I love how it instantly gives any outfit a fun and youthful side to it. It looks like its time to swap you basic skirts, jackets and harem pants for dotted versions.

For a more vintage and old school look, try the black/blue or even red dots on white fabric. I really enjoy the 'homy' feel these small coloured dots convey an these girls make it look so effortless, it's perfect. Will you be going dotted this spring or will you stay faithfully in the stripped club?

New owner of my Nué colourful wedges: So, I took the time to appreciate and read through all your comments, emails, inboxes, DirectMessages and all other social communications. As I said before, I was not looking for a buyer but a new loving owner for these lovelies and I am happy to announce that the new proud owner is the author and creator of My Kinda Magazine. When checking out her blog, I immediately new that these wedges were made for someone like here who really knows how to make fashion playful and fun. So Congratulations and I will get in contact very shortly!

On a last note, get ready for the 'BIG 100th post GIVEAWAY'!!

Fashion Fusion

So, saturday I took my tiered self to London's Fashion Fusion and was very glad I did. I was lucky enough to meet the gorgeous Reem, the face behind the amazing website '5'5 girl in a 5'10 world' and one of the speakers at the event. Definitely worth checking out her website, it has some really fun and interesting fashion segments. I have to confess I feel in love with the title of the blog/website, being short myself I completely relate to it It's one of those things you wish you had come up with and thought of.

Anyway, here is the outfit I wore to the event and I was very glad to discovered that the stilettos came in handy later during the day, when shopping for cheap finds at Primak. I literally walked m way through the crowds of hungry looking shoppers.

2010 is, for me, the start of a new love for accessories, I am giving earrings, and especially rings a run for their money. I never use to change my earrings but I have recently found myself 'cheering' up basic outfits with a great pair of statement earrings, and the same goes for rings. I am always wearing my cartier triple rings for very sentimental reasons and not taken them off is almost 6 years now. However, they are having quite a bit of company lately. Here, I am wearing a new pair of Jewels chunky emerald earrings. Jewels stuff is pretty bold, bright and very out there and let's be honest not very me. This being said I actually, like, no love her pieces.

So what do you think of my bold statement earrings? Would you wear them? I also just wanted to let you know I am currently looking for a new home for a gorgeous pair of wedges i sadly never wear, so if you are a size 5 (uk) or 38 (eu) and promise to take good care of them then just leave me a comment with all you details and I will pick a lucky winner on Wednesday.
