The checked shirt

//WEARING// H&M wedges Zara leather jacket (old) Zara shirt Mango jeans Bag as seen here Neither the longest, nor the bets of outfit posts but one nonetheless. I am off to Paris tonight, and whilst I am there I will be getting all the necessary things for making (much) more of those woven bracelets you guys seem to like. So hopefully over the weekend, I will get a DIY step by step post up, and yes I will have a few extra to sell to you.

Do something 'pink' for yourself and others

1. Isabel Marant x Association "Le Cancer du Sein, Parlons-en",  2. Black Current Elliott jeans foudn at Farfetch,  3. Zadig & Voltaire sequin Blazer,  4. Balenciaga red Pom Pon bag,  5. Adidasblack hi sleek sneakers,  6. Laura Jastram's woven chain bracelet. It's October - otherwise know as the breast cancer awareness month. So why not do something good, and fashionable in order to get people -especially women - more aware and more open about breast cancer . Swarovski has a lovely collection of items that promote awareness, and now Isabel Marant has joined the fashpack, and designed a tee that can be purshared for only 15€.  The best thing about the tee is that all the proceeds go to the french breast cancer awareness association. I am a strong believe that women should no be ashamed or hide behind their illnesses, as one woman's story could help another on so many different levels. The more you talk about it, the less tabou it becomes, and the more women can benefit from the knowledge of others. So help one another, and do something 'pink' this october.

Also, a huge thank you to UPR for my lovely Swarovski pink ribbon. If you have any other breast cancer association and ideas, please do share them.

Bshirt x Apéros Urbains

Last three pictures c/o Apéros Urbains

I was kindly invited last Friday to the closing party of the Apéros Urbains in Brussels, and only in Belgium would you have a VIP area which has "Frites à volonté" otherwise know as open bar and french fries for all. It was a great evening with a great line up, and both the Apéros Urbain team an the Bshirt team made the evening spectacular. Hopefully you will read and see more of this new and quirky belgian brand Bshirt on the blog some time soon. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Add some colour to that

H&M never ceases to impress me. Even though the clothes often look a bit better in their lookbooks than in the shops, the plethora of  accessories, the on-trend items and the more-than reasonable prices always put a smile on my face. Yes it might sound vain to say that clothes can make one happy but that is just the truth of the matter. It is not actually the clothes, or even the purchase that make me happy, it has more to do with the find in itself. But back to H&M's latest summer lookbook, I have to say I really the simple cuts and the bright fresh colours. I especially like the yellow dress 'ensemble', but I am not sure how it would look on a redhead.  Anyway, enough worrying about how yellow would look on me, and back to studying my Chinese. Good luck to all those of you who are currently studying for their exams!
