I have been asked a few times now by readers to share my shoe collection. I was thinking of an original and "fun" way to do it as I have actually really started collecting shoes, heels, flats and boots for the last three years. So I decided to come up with the concept of shoes x pavements - I have for the last three months been taking pictures of my shoes whilst running from one place to another and this is what I have come up with. Sadly, I didn't post it quickly enough as this concept is now also being done by our beloved Caroline (great minds think alike, hum hum haha). Nonetheless, I hope you like the idea and the post and don't hesitate to tweet me (or simply email me) your shoes x pavements with the hashtag #tweetyourfeet and I will make a second post with all your favourite shoes.

PS: This is only the first part, of a four (so far) part post

Madison & Co bow dress

A very quick outfit post, not the most interesting outfit post but one nonetheless. These boots are back out for fall and there is no doubt they will be my best friend. Plus they now come in brown and suede which would be very tempting if I didn't think I had way to many shoes and no where to store them. I have a few fun events lined up this week which I can't wait to share with you. Thank you to Candice for the pictures!

Bshirt x Apéros Urbains

Last three pictures c/o Apéros Urbains

I was kindly invited last Friday to the closing party of the Apéros Urbains in Brussels, and only in Belgium would you have a VIP area which has "Frites à volonté" otherwise know as open bar and french fries for all. It was a great evening with a great line up, and both the Apéros Urbain team an the Bshirt team made the evening spectacular. Hopefully you will read and see more of this new and quirky belgian brand Bshirt on the blog some time soon. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Give us "The Skinny" on Forever21

Last thursday I had the wonderful opportunity to talk to some of people on the the Forever21 team, including one of the bloggers for The Skinny (which is Forever21's official blog and life page). It was a fantastic and very interesting two hours.

One thing is certain, Forever21 is slowly but very surely making it's way onto the European continent, and it definitely looks like it is here to stay. It all in Dublin and Birmingham, then onto London, Vienna, Barcelona, Belgium and Israel is next followed by China. Interestingly enough, both the style and the essence is the same as back in the states - fast fashion here we come, and we love it. Basically, if you find something you like in the stores or online get it! Once it's gone it will be gone for good. Something that bloggers, like myself, both like to hear and cringe about. It's the double edge sward of fashion; on the one hand there will not be thousands of people walking the streets or the blogs, for that matter, with the same items as yourself. On the other hand it makes share ones looks pretty difficult, as items will fly of the shelves. Then again this is the beauty of fashion; get it while its hot!

One thing for sure, is that Forever21 has embraced new media and social networking tools since their beginnings, and for them it's more than simply selling the product, it's also about communicating with the customer and understanding them. Something that was fairly obvious when you spend more than five minutes with the Forever21 team. They clearly are one "the forefront of fashion, but also on the forefront of so many other things"; the crazier and more innovative, the better!

Thank you to Marie from Oona for setting up this interview and thank you Forever21 for having me and answering your questions in all honesty :)
