River island online shopping

The English brand, River Island is now shipping outside of the Uk which I have to say is great news. I really get annoyed with brands that only ship to one country especially when they have shops in other countries. Anyway, I would check out their online store because as always River Island has a new collection packed full of essentiels and fun items that will cheer up anybody's gloomy winter outfit.

Anyway I thought I would share with you some of my favourite items they have in stock at the moment. I have been looking for a while now for a nice pair of cream jeans, and a pair of skinny white jeans (I have a DIY planned for them). It would seem that River Island has both, among other nice items.

I hope you enjoyed yesterday's outfit post, or am I already boring you with it :)

The perfect autumn trousers

//WEARING// Zara black heels and orange trousers Zara black leather jacket (old) Urban Outfitters gifted belt Asos sporty tee (old) Swatch gold watch Mono bracelets available at Colette

Yesterday, I introduced my new favourites trousers, and today I wanted to share with you the outfit post. Everything about these trousers are perfect; the stiff yet fluide wool it is made out of, the perfect shade of orange, the boyish yet feminin cut and the length. As I said previously the possibilities are endless with such a statement item. However, last week's combination was one of my favourite. Hope you like the outfit as much as I do.

The orange trousers

I first saw these bright orange peg trousers on the Zara web store, I had placed them in my virtual basket among many various other items that had caught my eye. However, as most virtual shopping baskets go, that was as far has the trousers had got. Then I stumbled upon a picture of Miroslava Duma (pic1) wearing a very similar pair in an 'emsemble', which actually turned out to be the orange trousers I had put in my basket weeks before. I was sold immediately and knew these would be a great statement piece for Autumn. Lucky for me they still had my size. A couple of days ago, I found a picture taken by Scott Schuman of these trousers and I knew I had made the right decision (pic2). Since, I have worn them quite a few times; for work paired with a simple black cardigan or jumper, more casually by pairing them with a denim shirt and bright print belt, or in the evening with a sporty tank top and leather belt (pic3). P.S: sporty tees seems to be doing a come-back, and I think we might have Isabel Marant to thank for this. Mine comes from Asos (old)

Tomorrow's outfit post will feature them, so stay tuned :)

Ladies it looks like this winter's cover up will be the baseball cap. It has been popping up all over the blogosphere and on some of the most gorgeous ladies. No need to look like a tomboy when wearing it either. The two baseball caps that have recently been popular are the black wool one from H&M men departement and teh grey and black one, also from H&M.

What do you think about this trend? Or do you have another cover up planned fro this winter?
