When I was in ANtwerp, I did a small detour in the huge H&M shop, love the stripped jumper they have at the moment (for only 9.99€) 9. Also came across this cute little orange number 10. Love these black boots, also from H&M 11. ... and speaking of H&M boots, check out these lovely brown one with the perfect heel too 12. A huge thank you to wonderful people at UPR for this really cute (and very fitting if i may say so) JCDC x kipling bag 13. October, is the month of breast cancer awareness. Why not spread the word in a fashionable way, Thanks to UPR for this lovely Swarovski pin

I am currently getting increasingly worried about tomorrow, I was chosen amongst more than 13.000 candidates to participate in the world's biggest fashion show organised by the Galleries Lafayette. Don't ask me what I was thinking when I agreed to this - it sounded like fun at the time - because I am now thinking it was a very bad idea. I am the clumsy girl that will either missed a step and tumbled or walk on somebody else :/ Anyway I am sure it will be great fun and a good experience. So wish me luck and I will keep you updated throughout the day. Also, I have no idea what I am going to wear, as I really don't have that much to wear with me at the moment.

Give us "The Skinny" on Forever21

Last thursday I had the wonderful opportunity to talk to some of people on the the Forever21 team, including one of the bloggers for The Skinny (which is Forever21's official blog and life page). It was a fantastic and very interesting two hours.

One thing is certain, Forever21 is slowly but very surely making it's way onto the European continent, and it definitely looks like it is here to stay. It all in Dublin and Birmingham, then onto London, Vienna, Barcelona, Belgium and Israel is next followed by China. Interestingly enough, both the style and the essence is the same as back in the states - fast fashion here we come, and we love it. Basically, if you find something you like in the stores or online get it! Once it's gone it will be gone for good. Something that bloggers, like myself, both like to hear and cringe about. It's the double edge sward of fashion; on the one hand there will not be thousands of people walking the streets or the blogs, for that matter, with the same items as yourself. On the other hand it makes share ones looks pretty difficult, as items will fly of the shelves. Then again this is the beauty of fashion; get it while its hot!

One thing for sure, is that Forever21 has embraced new media and social networking tools since their beginnings, and for them it's more than simply selling the product, it's also about communicating with the customer and understanding them. Something that was fairly obvious when you spend more than five minutes with the Forever21 team. They clearly are one "the forefront of fashion, but also on the forefront of so many other things"; the crazier and more innovative, the better!

Thank you to Marie from Oona for setting up this interview and thank you Forever21 for having me and answering your questions in all honesty :)

Bare with me

It all started with this shirt, Hanneli

It seems that sun brings out, in all of us, the need to bare a little. And what better way than to show a little shoulder, so far so good. But show a little shoulder through a shirt, now that is even better. When I first saw the picture of Hanneli I literally looked at the picture for a whole minute and thought "how genius is this?". Then I saw Caroline Blomst sporting a similar design but in a very different style and thought "Now this is a trend a really like and could get use to!". Any thoughts on cut out shoulders on shirts?

A couple of pretty amazing DIYs from Iris and The Ensemble project

Also Thank you to Moni from the blog FrockYeah for the heads up that I was featured on Forever 21's blog (The skinny). Tanks for the feature!

Blogger love

As you seem to be enjoying the videos, here are a few more I really enjoy. It really does seem increasingly like big online shops are taking bloggers not only seriously but have come to terms with the tremendous impact bloggers can have. Take the huge event organised by the luxury online shopping site LuisaViaRoma, that has been taking place in Firenze over the last few days what a huge step for bloggers. I can't wait to see all the videos and pictures. On another note, I Really wish I was in Italy right now!
