I have been receiving a lot of emails asking me if I will be doing any more of my trend posts. And the answer is yes of course as soon as I get the time. These post were some of my favourites posts to do as they allowed me to share bloggers i like and recently discovered and up-and-coming trends. However they were also the posts that took the longest amount of time and work. I am not recycling an old post (well technically I am but this is not my end goal). This trend has a huge success with the bloggers when it first popped up on the blogosphere and it is still a successful trend today; indeed the Henry Holland 'trompe l'oeil' suspender tights looks like they were more than just a trend.

GIVEAWAY: when I went to Antwerp the other week and thanks to River Island (who is one of the very few places that actually sells the HH tights in Belgium), I have two pairs of suspender tights HH tight to GIVEAWAY; one black on black and special edition one black on tan/sheer (both one size fits all).

TO PARTICIPATE (rules):

1. Comment on this post and leaved you name, email address and say which pair you would rather have. And do so before Saturday 4th June Midnight! 2. Follow me on Bloglovin'

Please feel free to share the giveaway on twitter and facebook.

Suspender tights

Now here is a trend that you parents are probably praying they never see you wear. Henry Holland's 'trompe l'oeil' suspender tights took an a life of their own and were first spotted on British rock girls such as Pixie Geldorf, the Saturdays... and then the bloggers got their hands on them and that was that, suspenders were back in. I say suspenders because some, more daring than others, sported the real thing and wore them casually as day wear. Personally, I feel that some thing should stay in the bedroom or maybe I am just not too daring enough?!

Anyway, Henry Holland is a master when it comes to tights (special post on HH and his playful tights soon) and I don't know if I get (and like) them because I am British but I know not to take these little things too seriously and I actually quite like them and think them playful and flirty without screaming 'go back home and put some clothes on woman'. Even though this is not a new trend and has been around for a year or so, I thought the 1st of September was the perfect day to celebrate the steady come back of tights.

When there is a successful trend, there are copycats and Topshop came up with suspender tights of their own also adopted by our favorite trend setters. These are even more playful and less litteral than HH's version. But nevertheless, still only for the daring.

The experience of being in Wembley stadium with 70.000 people and so many incredible artists is hard to put into words so here are some of the pictures I took, a couple of videos and some close up pictures taken from the people over at Capital FM.

Here is the mashup song Capital FM made with all the artists present at the Summertime Ball which I actually think is pretty representative of the day. Hope you enjoy it!

Music & Henry Holland

Tomorrow, I will be off to the Summertime Ball (in collaboration with Capital FM and Asos) at the wembley stadium in London. I have to thank Asos for gifting the very sought after (and long ago sold out) tickets to me. Seriously, what better way to end my four year stay in the UK than with a massive outdoor concert. I will tweet any interesting events and pictures, so if you are not already following me on twitter now if a good reason to. Lookout for Monday's very festive post with hopefully loads of pictures and videos. I am getting pretty excited for the line up; Dizee Rascal, Ellie Goulding, Cheryl Cole, Rihanna, Jason Darulo, Scouting for girls, the Wanted, Pixie Lott... just to name a few.

Because all of my clothes are by now boxed up and ready to be shipped back to Brussels I am going to have to get creative for my festive outfit. Any ideas or suggestions? What would you wear to a festival/concert?
