I have a distinct feeling that this spring it's going to be all about the prints, whether they are floral, animal prints or even graphic. They will be seen on, well just about an item of clothing; structured dresses, short skirts, light shirts, playful jumpsuits, bright leggings and even jeans. Now there are two ways of wearing a print, either you tone it down with nude colours or an all black outfit either you go in the other directions and start pilling them on, preferably mixing stripes and dots with floral or graphic like prints. This either works or you simply end up looking like you belong in a pop pouri box.

Last but not least, Print overload, when it really shouldn't work but for some strange reason it really does. Quirky yet cute!
Spring is sure as hell not here yet (in my case it's still snowing even) but the blooming as definitely begun and so it should!

From the Chanel catwalk to Alexa Chung's feet into bloggers virtual shopping baskets, the clog has made it's way into the fashion sphere. I thought I had seen it all in 2009 with the comeback of some of the most unexpected trends such as latex, socks and upon toa sandals... But it looks like 2010 is kicking off with clogs of all things. Like them or hate them, it sure looks like they are here to say. Indeed, when Jeffrey Campbell starts designing the shoes bloggers lust for, it becomes a trend and a trends even though they don't stay for ever they sure do stick around.
As for me, I quite like the JC Charlie clog in black (or maybe in brown) but before I spend 100 Euros on a pair clogs I desperately need to figure out how and when I'm going to wear them. Then I remembered I had seen on Le Fashion, the Jessica Simpson's (yes you heard me correctly and there is no need to state the obvious) Dany wooden heels which were pretty incredible too, but that front platform scares the living crap out of me. Decisions, Decisions.. The next step is finding someone who will to the UK.

As I said in my previous post, I spent last Sunday with the girls from 'Kage' which was loads of fun. Their specialty is youthful yet elegant dresses, however they do make some fun T-shirt and some great studded leggings. I like the idea of discovered new up and coming designers. I thought that this was a great opportunity to show you a few of my new items (the Topshop scarf, the Kage t-shirt and my part leather legging) and to make a post with a slightly different layout. I hope you enjoy it!
