Black Book

I have a very busy but exiting day. I was invited by the lovely people at swatch to come to their big event were they will presente their 2010 'swatch & art' collection. It will also be great to meet the person that contributed so generously to my big 100th post giveaway by donating a gold swatch watch. Can't wait especially as this is my first ever press release too.

Then I will attend the 'Getting Started Lecture' With Jill Adams and Jennifer Inglis at Sketchbook pop-up shop over at Carnarby street. I was thrilled to discover that due to their success their shop would stay upon another month. I can't wait for this "practical and engaging workshop on how to start a blog and build one up".

Also, to all you Britons don't forget to vote today!! (this might be a fashion blog but I am still a politics student first and foremost ;)).

I thought I would share with you some of my latest purchases; the grey suede wedges (the exact cop of the zara ones but I really love their colour) and my Black Book t-shirt (cheap and fast delivery, just in case you were wondering for both items).

Turquoise ring

Yet another example of a skirt that I wear more often than not as a dress. Loving these grey suede Asos boots at the moment they are simply the perfect shade for this summer. The turquoise ring was on of my best finds in terms of rings and accessories, I just can't seem to get enough of its bright colour. This was an unexpected outfit post and not one that I had planned but I actually really love these pictures, I think they came out great. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do. And as always have a great day!

I have been receiving quite a lot of emails lately and questions concerning my hair and what products I use. I have to admit I should take better care of it and I really don't do that much to it appart from using a good conditionner once in a while and cutting the ends myself every two weeks or so. And yes this bright orange is my natural colour which I was lucky enough to inherit from my mum.

Cupcakes & pinatas

Just got back from Brussels. It was a fun yet hectic stay as always but its always such a pleasure  to come back and to see all my friends. I thought I would share with you some of my pictures from my stay in Brussels and party in Antwerp. I have to say the titles sums up the best part of it, so if you think this is just another funky title, think again because you are never to old for either cupcakes or pinatas. I hope you all had a great weekend and I promise I will answer all your emails this week.

The gorgeous blonde (otherwise known as one of my best friends) is wearing my jumpsuit from Sisley (brought last year) and my second cuff courtesy of Philippe Audibert. I might not have any sisters to steal and share clothes with but I do have a wonderful friend and neighbour with the same passion for clothes, whom  thankfully has more or less the same size as me.

Backstage & Art

So as I said on Monday last week, I ended up helping backstage at a fashion show for young designers, where a friend of mine was modeling (the one that looks like a modern version of 'a quite content' princess Léa). It was a fun experience and a whole lot of chaos. As ever it was months of preparation for a show that was over in a mere 10 minutes. The Passion Fashion Show - 1st Edition, Nuevos Talentos gathered six young designers whom had the opportunity to present their creations; Juan Hernandez Daels, Paula Avellaneda, Carol Watts, Erika Corona, Amparo Santamaria Dacal, Laura Walser Boserman. I thought I would share with you some of the 'stolen' moments I could snap in between dressing models, sowing up ripped garments and looking for lost hats...

And Sunday was spent wondering round 'Art Brussels', contemporary art fair which was also a delight. Here are  just a few of the pics I took during the Art fair, I won't bore you with the rest.

Finally, Hypeed's latest editorial is up 'The Timeless Stylish trench coat' and is worth taking a look at, if not for some inspiring ideas then just for the gorgeous pictures. I was flattered to be featured once more in their editorial, so thank you again to the Hypeed team. If you feel inspired don't hesitate to participated in the current callings which are very much in trend right now!
